Lets Dish

Here is one of the arrangements i made from my garden for the party last saturday night...

We had about 30 people show up...it was very fun...but of course i didnt really get any pictures of the actual set up...next year i will...the above is the arrangement from a distance...

We had nine pies...i still cant believe it...i thought the pie contest would be relatively small...but nine out of thirty...not too shabby...my cousin sandy won with her banana cream pie...she said her eyes were watering...but she was totally crying...

Party guests at the end of the night...the night was so pretty...it was like being at the blue bayou restaurant...anyway im looking forward to next year's party....Thanks to all that came...and for those that couldnt come... maybe next year?

Hello and Good Morning

Here is my blue ribbon project...it is for the the pie contest winner i am having at the garden party tomorrow...

My husband thinks it is insanely large and he suggested i make the winner wear it...i think its cool...id wear it...

here are some new/old blocks i have finished carving...its a miracle...now my husband must cut some wood and next week i will glue them...hoooraaay...oh and by the way my husband and i will be at the green market in claremont california today to sell a few of our wares...so stop by if you are local...its at the claremont packing house 540 1st street claremont...have a great weekend...

kinda egg white frittata...it had one whole egg...sauteed red onion and broccoli with some chili flakes along with some fresh mozzarella...it was good but could of been better...this was our fancy breakfast this weekend...i wish i had some breakfast right now...

Teeny Tiny Cookies for Teeny Tiny Mouths

Last tuesday the girls came over...we had an in n out lunch...yummy...and teeny tiny chocolate cookies...

the recipe called for miniature chocolate chips but i didnt have any...just a bar of dark chocolate...so i chopped it up and scooped out half teaspoons of dough...geez the recipe wasnt kidding...the name tiny chocolate chip cookies...they only took 5 minutes...i originally put some cookies in for 7 minutes...they were literally toast but these little girls were so desperate for cookies they even ate the burnt ones...crazy little girls!

Officer Garcia

Officer Garcia didnt tell me the whole truth...and i am a garcia too...you would have at least thought he would have told me everything...in may i got lost...and i dialed my bother in the middle of traffic in newport beach as the 55 freeways ends...its a cluster you know what of traffic...so i did it and there he was on his motorcycle...dont worry its only nineteen dollars...well $148.06 after you count taxes and other charges...ahhhh well guess i wont be using my phone in traffic again...by the way...isnt this painting awesome...i wanted to use it for the imagine post...it works here too...its called Miss Unbelievably Angry by BeesandTrees...thanks for letting me use it!
