Mother of the fucking year. That is all.
you are so funny. i love you come see me. i promise i will feed you something good!!
That cake looks incredible!
Happy 5th birthday Sophie!!And what an amazing cake!! Kou-chan turned two last week and we had an outdoor party/picnic for him but without cake... talk about bad parenting!Your party post reminds me I must post his party shots too. Hopefully this weekend...
oh yeah? their bdays must be right around each others. may 10th is hers. outdoor parties are the best! what no cake? yes you are bad. i think mummy and daddy deserve some spankings for that!! party shots please. i cant believe how fast they grow and how old i feel but you are still young.how is your plant doing?
I always love reading your blog.....I love your mumminess, and the happiness that spills out of each post! What a fab birthday cake, my daughter and son both have birthdays in July a week apart so I should make something as fantastic as this....but maybe I might be overestimating my talents!
thanks so much...the mummines drains me though especially after parties. you should make one in july. its easy. i bought a cake decorating kit at ikea which had a wire cake cutter which made splitting the layers easy peasy. no you have amazing talents!! honestly i should have just bought two boxes of cake mix instead of home making from scratch.that would definitely make this cake less time consuming.
Happy birthday Sophie!! what wonderful party!! I must say she is one of the luckiest girl to have you as her mom :D
you are the sweetest my friend and a wonderful and loving mother yourself. love you!!
hey sf! beautiful party pics and thanks so much for the links! we were worried about you + family yesterday with the fontana fires.if you ever need shelter your family is always welcome here. our casa es su casa. did you see the solar eclipse?!! i know you love the sky.. sun, moon, stars and planets.
no i did not i havent been feeling well again i didnt know about it now im sad yes i do love the sky and all of its heavenly inhabitants...yeah i saw those fires...they were far away from us thankfully. thank you sweetness our casa es su casa too!!
Looks like you all had lots of fun :)Lots of B.Days to celebrate at your house this month, like our house in March :)Cake looks amazing!!!! Have a lovely week, cheers, T. :)
we did t. it was so much fun but we are all a little sick again. thanks for the compliments on the cake!!
omg, that cake!! work of art! looks delicious too. i just gained 10 kilos just by looking at it! haha. looks like one great party. you rock shellie!
no you rock lw. thankfully i sliced it as thinly as i could and only had one piece. it was pretty beautifully.
yesss! i've wanted to make one of those for so long, but it's so intimidating. love the colors of yours!
thanks liz!! its not that bad. if you want to make it easy use a cake mix and i would recommend using a wire cake cutter. i bought a cake decorating kit from ikea that came with one. just make your batter and have four bowls to divide up and then dye.
I am extremely impressed with your cake! I need to make one of those, too. I would for my own birthday next week but I won't even be here to do so! One day this summer I must! Also, happy belated birthday to your daughter!
Happy Early Birthday!!!!its pretty easy. you should totally do it.thanks i must admit it looked pretty spectacular.
