And what an amazing cake!! Kou-chan turned two last week and we had an outdoor party/picnic for him but without cake... talk about bad parenting!

What a fab birthday cake, my daughter and son both have birthdays in July a week apart so I should make something as fantastic as this....but maybe I might be overestimating my talents!

    1. thanks so much...the mummines drains me though especially after parties. you should make one in july. its easy. i bought a cake decorating kit at ikea which had a wire cake cutter which made splitting the layers easy peasy. no you have amazing talents!! honestly i should have just bought two boxes of cake mix instead of home making from scratch.that would definitely make this cake less time consuming.

    1. thanks liz!! its not that bad. if you want to make it easy use a cake mix and i would recommend using a wire cake cutter. i bought a cake decorating kit from ikea that came with one. just make your batter and have four bowls to divide up and then dye.
