Sunday's Roast

Turned into this....
Delicious lettuce wraps with roasted bell peppers and marinated artichokes....


Here it is unsliced. Vegetarians look away! I like to cook a big piece of meat such as this tri tip roast with a rub of smashed garlic,salt, and pepper on Sunday for sandwiches or whatever for the week. Unfortunately all the wine was gone which would have been perfect for my lunch. The hard part of this is not dipping a big piece of soft white bread into the pan drippings. Dont worry those lettuce wraps contained the pan sauce. Why does fat have to taste so good?
